Early Life
Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell grew up in Los Angeles, California. She grew up amongst musicians, and her parents Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connel had already made a name for themselves in the entertainment industry. Eilish listened to bands like Avril Lavigne and The Beatles when she was growing up.
Young Billie Eilish had homeschooling, and when she turned eight years old, she sang in a church choir for three years. She recorded short movies and edited them on I- movies. Apart from music, Billie took an interest in dance as well.

Career
Billie Eilish recorded the song “Ocean Eyes,” in October 2015. She uploaded it on Soundcloud, and within a short period, it had more than 10 million streams. Afterwards, several record labels contacted her for them to release the song. It was finally released by ‘Darkroom records’ and ‘Interscope Records.’
Two years later, in February, she released ‘Bellyache,’ alongside her brother, who was the producer. Billie recorded the song, ‘Bored,’ which was featured as a soundtrack in the ‘Netflix’ series, ’13 Reasons Why.’ The song was well-received, forcing the producer of the series to feature it in the second season of the series. Her highly anticipated EP album was released in July 2017.
This was after the release of two singles, ‘My Boy,’ and ‘I Don’t Want to be You Anymore.’ Billie Eilish combined with Vince Staples and did a remix for the song ‘Watch.’ The song was later renamed ‘Burn.’ She collaborated with Khalid and recorded the song titled, ‘Lovely.’
